That was not a very successful day. We tried to cross the border between China and Burma at Jiegao, but although we had a visa in our passports we were not allowed to enter over land. So we had to travel back to Kunming, the capital of the Yunnan Province (which meant a bus trip of 12 hours), to take a plane and fly to Mandalay. |
