Visiting a school in the floating village Chong Kneas on the lake Tonlé Sap, south of Siem Reap. This happened on a tour by boat, when we where asked, if we want to support the kids by buying stuff like pencils or notebooks (not the electronic ones) for them - which is a nice idea I thought. You can bring it by yourself to the floating school, to be sure, that they get, what you bought. Of course, you never know, what really happens, for example, those notebooks where pretty expensive, but let's be optimistic ... And it was hard to hear, that three teachers are responsible for 251 pupils ... They are celebrating Chinese New Year, that's why everything is so colorful decorated and the kids aren't studying.
