As the weather was shitty and "the cloud" ubiquitous in Bulgaria, we fled to Greece, spent the night on a camping site near Néa Karváli, a small town next to Kavala, wading through the surf right after arriving past midnight. In the morning sunshine and warmth welcomed us, together with hundreds of pupils who seemed to use the place for a schooltrip and enjoyed themselfs by screaming as loud as possible. But at least they were forbidden to enter the beach, so there we could have a more or less undisturbed breakfast picnic. Some prepubertal groupies of Nicki were watching us permanently, but you get used to that. And then - "the cloud" came back, accompanied by cold wind. So we fled again, to the coast east of Alexandroupoli, where we found a lonely spot at the beach for the caravan and us. Immediately we jumped in the icecold sea and took a sunbath, drinking beer - life was one of the best! Of course it didn't last long because "the cloud" found us and hid the sun. At least the cold wind got lost somewhere else. After a short phase of frustration we drove to the next village, bought food and stuff and made a campfire, grilling all meat we had, ate a lot and slept there, listening to the rushing sea ...
