Our (I was there with Manni) main goal in Trieste, Italy was to take pictures of the Tranvia di Opicina, a very old tramway (established 1902) connecting Trieste with Opicina. Therefore it has to get over a steep slope which forced the operator to use an extra vehicle to transform the tram into a funicular. |
