After driving through many areas of Iceland which could have been the end of the world, now we came through zones that felt like End of time. This part was covered with ash from the unpronounceable Eyjafjallajökull, producing a gloomy atmosphere, together with the mist and dark hazes of ash blewn over the road ... Unfortunately we didn't realize that we were near the famous volcano until we were through this unreal area, and it was too cloudy to see the mountain itself ... |
